See what others have to say:

"I appreciate that my father is treated with patience and kindness and that all the staff members seem to be emotionally invested in the participants. I am completely comfortable when he is there because it is not just a place for him to be. It is a place where he is becoming someone new."

Consulting and Outreach

Alzheimer's Family Day Center (AFDC) offers behavioral and program consultation services to professional organizations (long-term care communities, assisted living residences, nursing homes and day centers) providing dementia care to older adults. AFDC staff members are available to conduct training sessions for employees as well as suggest environmental changes that can improve the quality of care provided in a variety of settings.

AFDC is also available to give presentations on Alzheimer's and caregiving to a variety of community organizations, including: businesses, school groups, service organizations, and faith communities. We can tailor presentations to most audiences.
