Six months ago, Alzheimer's Family Day Center embarked on a research project to explore how to most effectively grow in meeting the needs of individuals and families in Northern Virginia who are living with Alzheimer's disease and related dementia. Read the results here >

Alzheimer's Family Day Center has been selected again to participate with the Catalogue for Philanthropy. This is a huge honor for our center, as we have been designated "one of the best small charities in the Washington region!" We are one of 70 non-profits in the Washington metro region chosen for this honor, and the ONLY non-profit in the Human Services Aging category!

Classes for Caregivers are ongoing every 3rd Wednesday of the month at 1:30 pm. The topic for the February workshop is "The Mechanics of Alzheimer's Disease", where Dr. Tim Fratto will discuss disease progression and current medical technology.
